CLARITY, SUPPORT, AND MENTORSHIP FOR MASSAGE THERAPISTS at Every Stage

Whether you’re an aspiring massage therapist, currently in massage school, or a licensed therapist looking for guidance, support, or ways to prevent burnout, you’re in the right place.

Pursuing a career in massage therapy is a big commitment, and so are the decisions that follow

At some point, you’ve probably Googled “Is massage school worth it?” and ended up more confused than when you started.

Or you’ve tried to memorize course material and wondered why anatomy feels like a foreign language.

Or maybe you’ve already earned your license, took a job, and now you’re up at midnight debating whether you should open your own practice.

What you’re looking for isn’t more opinions from strangers online. It’s a perspective from someone who understands how this field works.

The old way says, “just go for it”

Enroll. Figure out the debt later. Push through the hard parts. Open the business. Cross your fingers and hope it works. That’s the hustle-and-grind culture talking, and we’re not doing that.

Massage isn’t a hobby you “just try” for fun.

It’s a licensed profession, financial investment, and big commitment, which is why starting from a place of alignment, intention, and clarity is so valuable, especially because it’s not for everyone.

That is why you deserve honest guidance from a mentor before you commit or take the next big step in your career. I’ll give you transparent guidance for every stage of the massage therapy path, so you can move forward with confidence, not crossed fingers.

Where are you right now?

I’m Thinking About Massage School

Before you spend thousands of dollars, we look at state requirements, debt, timing, readiness, and alignment. Getting this clarity now saves you time, money, and unnecessary stress later.

I’m Currently in School

If anatomy feels overwhelming or exams send you into a panic, that doesn’t automatically mean you chose wrong. We look at how you actually learn, how to think through exam questions, and how to build techniques that work for you.

I’m Licensed & Want More

If you’re thinking about going out on your own, we talk policies, structure, classification, pricing, and sustainability.

HI, I’M MEREDITH, FOUNDER OF MASSAGE MAEVEN

I’ve been the older student who thought she was behind. I’ve been the therapist figuring it out in real time. I’ve been the teacher watching people succeed for the right reasons, and enroll for the wrong ones. I’ve seen the spirals, the confidence crashes, the “maybe I made a mistake” moments.

But ultimately, I’ve learned that success in this field doesn't look the same for everyone, and not everyone who’s interested in massage should pursue it.

I care about what happens after the excitement wears off, when the tuition bill hits, when school gets hard and tests creep up on you, when clients test your boundaries, or when you realize being “your own boss” requires more structure than anyone warned you about.

I’ve worked in this field long enough to know it can be incredible, and long enough to know it can burn people out when they walk into it blind.

That’s why I don’t sell dreams or push you one way or another, I ask you better questions so you can make the right decisions for you.
